Buckhorn Fine Art Festival - Chair Affair - 2015

Salvaged from a backyard shed …. a waiting room chair, some forty years old…

I traded in my florist’s knife for a palette knife and ventured into the world of oil on canvas,  some forty years later.
This chair and I have a lot in common.
Our conversation will be awkward at times, yet clear-cut. There will be lines to follow and shapes to elude, in the midst of a palette of colour and form that will embrace us both.

ART BROWNIE 2015 – MAGIC

Focus, focus hocus-pocus
There is magic in the eye of this cat.
Be it a bewitching black, a conjuring ginger or an enchanting tabby.
Its true colours are concealed in an alluring, achromatic palette.
